Project Details

What We Need
  • Consultation regarding the Organization's current branding and desired branding objectives
  • Visual branding guidelines / style guide that include specific colors, fonts, and other graphic design elements to use in print and digital communications materials
  • High-resolution logo delivered electronically (in formats for digital and print use)
Additional Details

This is not related to my work with Maui Mediation Services. Through my studies as a student, this group of volunteers emerged to reach out to our LGBTQ youth with one mission: Love them
We call our youth gathering, Club Z, as that is the generation of youth/High School students we are reaching out to. A logo for our club is greatly needed.

What We Have In Place
  • We currently have a basic pre-made logo from an app and open for creativity, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have freedom as the decision makers, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help
This project will save us $4,817 , allowing us to .... funny question. We don't have any money as we are just getting off the ground as group of volunteers meeting a need in on our island. We hope to become a 5013c in 2020

this project is not directly related to my organization, however I plan to share our youth conflict skills with these teens in the near future in an effort to give them tools on how to deal with Conflict and have others agency's share life skills with the teens. Club Z is comprised of 13 adults who's sole purpose is to build relationship, encourage and provide a safe space for these teens to gather bi-monthly. We want to decrease teens suicide on our island by letting them know we are for them

Project Plan

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with current logo (if available), branding guidelines, and any existing marketing/communications materials
  • Volunteer Manager sends Professional examples of logos, brands, and design elements preferred, and links to website and social media pages
Milestone 1: Brainstorm
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager connect to discuss the branding goals, target audience, and preferred design elements
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager agree upon a style concept and the detailed scope of deliverables (e.g., logo, custom graphics, updated style guide, new style guide, etc.)
Milestone 2: Logo Design
  • Professional drafts up to three different logo designs and shares with the Volunteer Manager for feedback
  • Volunteer Manager selects one of the design options and provides feedback
  • Professional iterates upon the design for final delivery, including versions of the logo for different uses (e.g., black & white, full color, and formats for print and digital use)
  • Professional delivers the final version of the logo including specifications for usage (colors, size, etc.)
Milestone 3: Visual Branding Guidelines / Style Guide
  • Professional drafts the visual branding guidelines, which features the logo design and a specific set of colors, fonts, and any custom graphic elements to be incorporated in future communications
  • Volunteer Manager reviews the draft guidelines and provides feedback
  • Professional incorporates feedback and prepares the final version
  • If custom graphics are included in the agreed-upon scope of work, the Professional provides them in high-resolution formats for digital and print use

Our mission is to provide, teach, and facilitate appropriate dispute resolution for people of all ages. We handle a wide variety of conflicts for families, neighborhoods, businesses, and government agencies. We bring people together to find their own best solutions. This process promotes respect, communication, and peace.


Ashley is OUTSTANDING and super talented. She listened to our needs and grasped a great understanding of our cultural views here on Hawaii. She was VERY responsive and communicated clearly and guided us along the way with information we would need but not known to ask in the process. I cannot say enough nice things about how Ashley; she is a gem! We have had so many compliments on our logo and many asking WHO did that for you?! Was such an enjoyable experience, and this was her first time working with Catchafire.
