The Hawaii Institute of Pacific Agriculture (HIP Ag) is a farm and educational center located in North Kohala, on the northern tip of the Big Island of Hawaii. HIP Ag is a 501(c)3 non-profit that inspires students to connect to the land and their food through a pipeline of agricultural education programs. HIP Ag serves K-20 students through farm excursions, garden and nutrition based in-class workshops, High School Farm Mentorship and Internship Program, and a post-secondary Farm Apprenticeship Program. In 2018, HIP Ag served 1,796 community members including 721 K-12 students through its programming.
