Megan helped Magical Creatures Of Hamakua - Animal Rescue And Sanctuary conduct research on a particular topic or question.
Starting a school outreach program is critical to our mission to serve the many animals who are not fortunate enough to make it to sanctuary, and this will help us to access grants and other sources of funding. We will provide humane education to students of all ages to improve the treatment of animals, including a section on the public health impacts of certain farming practices to empower them to address the sources of pandemics and other public health issues.
This project will save us $5,239, allowing us to feed and provide daily healthcare to our 65+ residents including our costly special needs animals. This savings will also allow us to create printed material for our outreach programs.
I work as a Technology Scout and Open Innovation Consultant in my professional career (3.5 years), meaning I spend most of my day doing online research for corporate and government clients, as well as helping them work with external partners. I want to use these skills to help causes I believe in and hopefully have at least a small positive impact on our world.
This is the 20th project posted by Magical Creatures Of Hamakua - Animal Rescue And Sanctuary.
